This one-day tour aims to take you on a trip to see the cultural sites of the pre-Inca civilizations that developed on the shores of the Lake Titicaca. This tour includes a visit to the small town of Chucuito, a not well-known reality of Peru, with small houses, narrow streets which makes you travel in time to the indigenous populations of Peru. Then we will visit Aramu Muru which has in itself a mystic energy, transporting us in time and space to the time when the Pre-Inca cultures lived in complete harmony with nature’s laws. According to the locals Aramu Muru is the door to the “Temple of enlightening of the Meru’s Gods” or “Hayu Marca”. The locals tell interesting and mystic stories about this door, that it sometimes becomes semi-transparent allowing the sight of a shining city on the other side. These stories will make your visit to Aramu Muru memorable. Juli is our last destination, which easily charms us with the story of a people who went through so much throughout its development, so much so that it dates prior to the Inca’s time. Walking through its streets, the lake harbour, and take in these unique sights of Lake Titicaca make Juli a worth visiting place while in the Puno Region.
